Meet the Church Leadership
William Bias, Pastor
In 2007, the Lord called me to the ministry and was ordained in October 2009. I gave my heart to the Lord at the age of 16. I have served in many capacities during my christian life as a Sunday School teacher and youth leader. The Lord has blessed me to be the Pastor at Wellington Freewill Baptist Church since 2018. The Lord has blessed me with three children, seven grandchildren and married more than 44 years.

Tom McCourt, Head Deacon
I was born in Richwood, West Virginia and at the age of 16 gave my heart to the Lord. God brought my future wife into my life and in January of 1971 we married. The Lord has blessed us with two wonderful daughters and four lovely grandchildren. A few of my hobbies are music and instruments of any kind.
Tammy White, Treasurer
My husband and I were led to Wellington Freewill Baptist Church in the spring of 1990. We joined the church that same year. We have been married for 29 years and have been blessed with 3 children. I have a heart to be a servant for the Lord and be the witness that God wants me to be.
Ken Pocock,
Trustee
My wife and I joined Wellington Freewill Baptist Church in January 2019. In January 2021, I accepted the position of Trustee as my desire is to work and make God’s house always look the best. My wife was saved and baptized in 1974 before I gave my heart to the Lord and baptized in 1985. We have been married for 40 years and the Lord blessed us with 5 children and 16 grandchildren.

Church has always been a part of my life beginning at an early age, becoming involved with a youth group through my teenage years where I made friends that I will have for a lifetime. The Lord led my family back to Wellington Freewill Baptist Church where I rejoined the church. I have been married for 24 years and have been blessed with 2 children.
